STARTING POINT

What does it mean to not just grow fast but also to communicate well? The company Codewerk is young and agile, and it’s almost been overwhelmed by its own success in its domain: highly specialized software for industry and rail transportation. This made it necessary to present a much more professional image to customers and potential applicants. But how do you build the expertise necessary for this project? Who will brief the external service providers? Or is there an agency that can fill this interface?

CODEWERK AND DYADIC

This connection proved to be symbiotic right from the start. Strategically, in terms of content, and creatively. In the course of its website relaunch, we helped Codewerk hone its positioning; reorganize and streamline its product portfolio; and define its own content and visual language. Two things were crucial for Codewerk: to be recognized for its uniqueness and to work agilely in a close collaboration with an agency.

RESULT

First, an important milestone was achieved: the timely relaunch of the website www.codewerk.de. Codewerk is now creating regular touchpoints with customers and potential employees on this site. As part of its new social media strategy, the company regularly positions itself on software innovation topics and targets talent.
1. Samuel, first of all, congratulations on the new website. Mission accomplished? What goals were especially important to you and your colleagues? We wanted to have a website that’s alive and regularly features new topics. Someone not only has to drive that; they also have to understand it in both technical depth and context. This also includes organizing our rapidly growing portfolio in a way that’s comprehensible to visitors to the site. Because  the quality of the website should optimally reflect the standards we set for our work. 2. On a scale of 1 to 10: How important is a shared language and a shared understanding with the communications agency? And were your expectations met? Very clearly, it’s extremely important! Only a partner who’s genuinely interested in our content and translates it correctly with major iteration loops will help us move ahead. We give DYADIC an even ten. 3. You’ve been out of the startup phase for a few years, and you’ve now also elevated your communications to a more professional level. How do communications help you expand? We want to communicate to the outside world the areas where we want to scale. Our market is changing faster and faster in terms of technology. And it’s only if we can credibly demonstrate today how we’re positioned to manage these changes will we be able to remain relevant tomorrow.
